KEY ACHIEVEMENTS

Digital Health Systems & Platforms

  • Developed and optimized Ministry of Health's digital dashboards for real-time monitoring and decision-making.
  • Integrated API-based data exchange for seamless interoperability across national health platforms.
  • Established a Data Center at the National Institute of Health (NIH) for improved public health data management.
  • Created the COVID-19 Management Information System (COVID-MIS), utilized by Pakistan's National Command and Operation Center (NCOC) and the Federal Directorate of Immunization (FDI) for pandemic response.
  • Developed Travelers Surveillance Management Information System and online PPE forecasting calculator.
  • Developed the Infectious Disease Management Information System (IDMIS) for NIH and CMU, enabling syndromic, laboratory, and community disease surveillance.
  • Implemented DHIS-2 Enhancements & Hosting to improve health data collection and analysis.
  • Strengthened Medicines LMIS in KP in collaboration with Impetus Advisory and DOH KP for better pharmaceutical supply chain management.
  • Developed Pakistan’s Central Application Tracking Dashboard under the Ministry of National Health Services, Regulations & Coordination (M/o NHSR&C), integrating DRAP and PMDC application databases.
  • Designed and piloted integrated digital platforms for infectious disease surveillance across multiple districts.
  • Developed and deployed the Vaccine Logistics Management Information System (VLMIS) for the Federal Directorate of Immunization (FDI) to enhance vaccine tracking and distribution.
  • Led the expansion of the Contraceptive Logistics Management Information System (CLMIS) into Electronic Client Record (ECR) systems, now being upscaled in Sindh and Balochistan.
  • Implemented inventory and asset management systems for supply chain optimization in KP.
  • Digitized health financing and real-time health data reporting systems to improve decision-making.
SMART LOGISTICS & DISEASE SURVEILLANCE INFRASTRUCTURE
  • Strengthened cold chain logistics through real-time monitoring systems for vaccine and contraceptive distribution.
  • Deployed four mobile Biosafety Level-2 laboratories for real-time disease surveillance and diagnostics.
  • Deployed 35 refrigerated trucks for the efficient and safe transport of medical commodities.

  • Trained 200+ district and facility staff on KP Inventory & Asset Management Systems in Charsadda, Lakki Marwat, and Swat.

Our Interventions

Strengthening Communities for Better Health

At Development Synergies International (DSI), we are collaborating with global partners to improve health, hygiene, and nutrition in communities. These interventions focus on empowering local workers, enhancing systems, and educating households. Some of our recent interventions are :

Intervention 1

Strengthening Community Hygiene By Empowering Health Workers

In collaboration with the Microbe Literacy Initiative (MLI), Development Synergies (Group of Companies) is conducting community workshops that focus on educating households about infection prevention and control (IPC). This initiative empowers community health workers as master trainers in microbe literacy, aiming to reduce infections, particularly among children under five years of age.

Intervention 2

Scale Up of Nutrition LMIS in KP

Development Synergies (Group of Companies) in collaboration with Impetus Advisory Services is working for the Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to strengthen the Nutrition Logistics and Management Information System (LMIS) by providing technical services. This intervention aims to improve the delivery and management of nutritional resources to vulnerable communities, enhancing health outcomes for children and pregnant women.

Intervention 3

Centralized Pakistan Track & Trace Dashboard

The Centralized Administration Dashboard, developed for Ministry of National Health Services, Regulations & Coordination (M/o NHSR&C) by IT Division of Development Synergies International, is a comprehensive platform designed to enhance real-time health applications monitoring, provides traceability, transparency and improves processing timelines. This central system is managed by M/o NHSR&C and is Hosted at the National Health Data Center – NIH, Islamabad, this dashboard integrates nationwide health indicators, tracks disease trends, manages logistics for medical supplies, and optimizes resource allocation to strengthen public health governance across Pakistan.

Intervention 4

Comprehensive Assessment of Pakistan’s Immunization Systems: Toward a Unified Data-Driven Roadmap

Development Synergies International in collaboration with Integral Global and CDC, is undertaking a Comprehensive Assessment of Pakistan’s immunization systems, encompassing a detailed analysis of existing structures, challenges, and opportunities. This evaluation will identify a diverse set of multidimensional indicators essential for developing a cohesive and data-driven national roadmap.
